Keller Williams will perform two dates this weekend in Duck, NC. These shows at the Tap Shack represent the artist’s 7th Annual Duck Down. The opening night, Friday, July 24, will feature two sets from Williams’ Grateful Grass. In anticipation, he has just released a live performance from the group.

Keller Williams’ Grateful Grass Live at the Bluegrass Hall of Fame and Museum revisits the band’s appearance at the Owensboro, Kentucky locale this past March 14 during the Farewell Weekend for the Jerry Garcia: A Bluegrass Journey exhibit. The ten song release, which is now available and extends overs 70 minutes, opens with “Cold Rain and Snow” and includes versions of “Viola Lee Blues,” “Scarlet Begonias” and “Eyes of the World,”

Williams notes, “Sometimes there are shows that are so special I’m excited to hear the recordings. Normally, they never sound as good as I remember, but this is one of those rare shows…The closing of the Jerry Garcia exhibit at the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum in Owensboro, Kentucky. An audience that knows bluegrass and Grateful Dead music. The perfect audience for this project. Joined by the highly respected (and super sexy) Jason Carter, Chad “Gravy” Graves , Jim Rea and Gary Rea of The HillBenders, with sit-ins from Lindsay Lou and Kyle Tuttle, these recordings passed my test.”
