Joe Russo’s Almost Dead Outline Three-Night Run at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester

Joe Russo’s Almost Dead have announced their return to the historic Capitol Theatre venue in Port Chester, N.Y., over three nights, January 17 through 19. During their stay, the Grateful Dead cover project includes their namesake, Russo, Scott Metzger, Dave Dreiwitz, Marco Benevento and Tom Hamilton, who will work through selections from the San Francisco jamband’s beloved songbook of originals and classic covers.
Currently, the band’s Capitol Theatre dates represent the first 2025 concert appearances to be added to the books for JRAD. Before their time in Port Chester, N.Y., the group will take part in a string of October tour dates beginning at Ting Pavilion in Charlottesville, Va., before multi-night runs ensue in Asheville, N.C., and Oakland, Calif., followed by a one-night stand in Los Angeles.
In November, JRAD will return to the East Coast for a sprinkling of locational dates that will spread into the Midwest as dates shift and December arrives. The group’s final appearance of 2024 will land on Dec. 7 at the Palace Theatre in St. Paul, Minn.
