A new trailer for Deliver Me From Nowhere highlights the upcoming Bruce Springsteen biopic’s previously unseen musical dimension. After carefully dosed out advance offerings highlighted the dramatic arc of the film and the relationships at its heart, the latest clip shows Jeremy Allen White’s vocal chops in Springsteen’s performance of “Born to Run’ with the E Street Band at Cincinnati’s Riverfront Coliseum in 1991. Watch the star shout, flail and sweat below.

Deliver Me From Nowhere captures the production of Springsteen’s 1982 sixth studio album Nebraska, delving into the turmoil and revelation that charged his legendary record. The film’s first trailer gave a glimpse into the throes of personal and artistic growth that spurred Springsteen’s unguarded storytelling and his decision to prioritize intimacy in its recording. The second focused on Springsteen as an artist contending with the pressures of success.

Nebraska is where Bruce chose truth over expectation—a choice that still reverberates through everything he’s written since,” director Scott Cooper said in a release. “At that crossroads, he could have chased the bright lights and the roar of arenas, but instead he turned inward, armed only with silence, a four-track recorder, and the courage to confront himself. For him to trust me with telling that story—the most vulnerable chapter of his life—is the greatest honor I’ve ever had as a filmmaker.”

Deliver Me From Nowhere is written and directed by Cooper (Crazy Heart, Black Mass) and adapted from Warren Zanes’ 2023 book of the same name. Other starring cast members include Marc Maron as producer Chuck Plotkin; Jersey Boys breakout Johnny Cannizzaro as Steven Van Zandt; Stephen Graham as Springsteen’s father; Gaby Hoffman as Springsteen’s mother; Paul Walter Hauser as guitar tech Mike Batlan; and Odessa Young as Faye, Springsteen’s love interest. Veteran producer Dave Cobb is helming the soundtrack, and Springsteen and Landau have both been closely involved with film.

Deliver Me From Nowhere will arrive in theaters on Oct. 24. While his biopic approaches, Springsteen is keeping busy as ever with new releases. In August, the artist responded to long-standing rumors by formally unveiling Electric Nebraska, part of the upcoming five-disc Nebraska ’82: Expanded Edition. Listen to a roaring early version of “Born in the U.S.A.” drawn from the long-lost full-band session here, and hear “Open All Night” from his recent first-ever complete live performance of the album here.
