Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival Shares 2026 Artist Lineup: Rhiannon Giddens, The Del McCoury Band, The Infamous Stringdusters, The Steeldrivers and More

Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival has shared the artist lineup for its 2026 event, set to return to Oak Hill, N.Y.’s idyllic Walsh Farm from July 15-19. For its 26th annual presentation, the festival will draw bluegrass stars like Rhiannon Giddens & the Old-Time Revue, The Del McCoury Band, The Infamous Stringdusters and The Steeldrivers to lead a program of 42 total acts, with more to be announced as the bluegrass, newgrass, and roots music summit approaches.

As always, Dry Branch Fire Squad will host the 2026 Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival, as the five-decade traditional string ensemble has since the folk celebration’s 1984 inception as Winterhawk Bluegrass Festival. Beyond the top billings, other high-profile performers booked for this summer include AJ Lee & Blue Summit, Darrell Scott String Band with Rob Ickes, Jason Carter and Michael Cleveland, Della Mae, the Brothers Comatose, Amy Helm, East Nash Grass, The Revelers, Darol Anger and Joe K. Walsh’s Blur-Grass, and John Doyle. The Travelin’ McCourys will revive their beloved Grateful Ball, putting their bluegrass spin on the Grateful Dead’s songbook, while The Infamous Stringdusters’ Andy Falco and Travis Book will cover the music of Jerry Garcia and the American traditionals he reworked in his live repertoire.

IBMA Bluegrass Music Award-winning vocalist and mandolinist AJ Lee will serve as this year’s artist-in-residence, filling a set previously held by Woody Platt in 2025, Jerry Douglas in 2022 and 2023 and Billy Strings in 2018 and 2019. Applications for the festival’s storied Emerging Artists showcase are open now.
