Goose Reveal Summer US Tour Dates

Goose have just revealed a new US tour, set to cross the country through June. Following its previously announced headliner performance at Solshine Reverie on May 24-26, the group will make 15 stops in the Midwest, East Coast and Mountain states, culminating with a final date in its home state on June 30. This news amplifies the excitement from the band’s announcement of new drummer Cotter Ellis yesterday, marking the first live dates for the fresh combination.

After the encore at Solshine Reverie, Goose will head west to kick off the tour with back-to-back gigs at St. Louis’ The Factory. Next, the band will hike to Fiddler’s Green in Colorado’s Greenwood Village for another two-date booking on June 7 & 8, followed by appearances in Omaha, Neb., Kansas City, Mo. and Indianapolis on June 10-12. After Northeast performances in Swanzey, N.H. and Canadagigua, N.Y. on June 14-15, the group will return for a last Midwest concert at Cleveland’s Jacobs Pavillion on June 16.

Goose will then move down the East Coast for five performances in Raleigh, N.C., Atlanta and Charlotte, N.C. on June 18-23. Following this, the group will head north again for two dates at Thompson’s Point in Portland, Maine on June 25 & 26, a gig at Philadelphia’s Mann Center on June 28 and a presentation at Queens, N.Y.’s iconic Forest Hills Stadium on June 29. Finally, Goose will fly home at long last for a show at Westville Music Bowl in New Haven, Conn.

This tour announcement continues a major media moment for the rising indie jam stars, building on yesterday’s reveal that Cotter Ellis will join as a permanent fixture, assuming the percussionist role previously held by founding member Ben Atkind. Goose has also revealed a new full-length project, Ted Tapes 2024, set to drop later today. Read on to view Ellis’ 30-minute audition tape, released yesterday as the first taste of the band’s new sound.
