On Wednesday, September 2, Goose closed out their sweep through Colorado and Utah with a concert at Dillon, CO’s Dillon Amphitheatre. The gig—which arrived after a surprise appearance at a college party, three nights at Morrison, CO’s famed Red Rocks, a quick detour to Salt Lake City, UT’s Civic Center and an intimate spot at Bellvue, CO’s The Mishawaka—was an underplay for the ascendant Connecticut act. And, during the evening, Goose treated fans in attendance to several 2026 live debuts, including the quartet’s first stab at The Band’s “Look Out Cleveland,” from their famed 1969 self-titled album, since September 22, 2024, and their first take on Kenny Loggins’ Top Gun classic “Danger Zone” since they performed the energetic cover with the song’s author at Newport, RI’s Newport Folk Festival on July 25, 2025.
A few earlier stops on their Colorado run also featured notable 2026 debuts. During their final Red Rocks show on September 1, they ended their second set with “Factory Fiction,” which was offered for the first time since December 13, 2025. Then, they left the stage as a looping drone played on throughout the encore break, only to return to finish the rest of “Factory Fiction.”
However, their Monday, August 31, stop at the Mish may have contained the most bust outs of the run. Just two songs into their first set, Goose revived John Phillips’ Grateful Dead-adopted “Me & My Uncle” for the first time since September 27, 2025, and during their second set they moved into their own “The Labyrinth” for the first time since June 19, 2025—only their 12th version of the track since debuting the number in 2021. For their lone encore, they also dusted off Elvis Presley’s “Trouble” for the first time since October 1, 2023.
Goose’s next appearance will take place at Louisville, KY’s Bourbon & Beyond on September 24. Foo Fighters, Queens & The Stone Age and The War on Drugs are all also on the bill’s top line.
