Fourth Annual Relix Music Conference Set for Brooklyn Bowl Nashville
Today, Relix has announced the Relix Music Conference will make its grand return for its fourth iteration at Brooklyn Bowl Nashville, in Nashville, Tenn., on April 17 and 18. The revival of the event marks the first time the Relix Music Conference will be held in Music City, U.S.A., following three sold-out gatherings at the Brooklyn Bowl’s flagship venue in New York City.
“We are super excited to bring the Relix Music Conference to Nashville,” said Relix publisher and Brooklyn Bowl co-founder Peter Shapiro. “I can’t believe it’s been three-plus years since we last hosted one. Wow, we have all been through a lot since the last one! And now, to get to do it at the Bowl in Nashville, it’s going to be a lot of fun to all get together again. See ya’ all down there!!!”
The Relix Music Conference–which is produced by Project Management Director for Dayglo Presents Brad Tucker–will welcome over 40 of the live music industry’s most renowned and respected professionals who will engage in intimate discussions, engaging panels, musical conversations with special keynote speakers and more.
Like previous years the gathering is set to honor Relix‘s history of over 45 years and continued motive to serve as a beacon in the live music industry regardless of the era – reporting on live music, creating intimate settings and fostering relationships between fans, artists, venues, festivals and other music business professionals.
Previous Relix Music Conference speakers include GRAMMY Award-winning musician Warren Haynes, renowned journalist David Fricke, legendary New York concert promoter Ron Delsener, esteemed record producer Don Was, live entertainment executive Jennifer Justice, the aforementioned independent music entrepreneur Shapiro and many others. The past conferences also featured industry leaders spanning a variety of companies, including Live Nation, AEG, Madison Square Garden Company, Bowery Presents, Red Light Management, Superfly, Paradigm Talent Agency, WME, SiriusXM, Warner Music, CID Entertainment, Rolling Stone and beyond.
As always, the Relix Music Conference hopes to shed a warm light on the fast-paced, ever-changing live music industry by bringing together the best and most passionate in the business – cultivating networking opportunities and unmatched connections through live, organic, in-person interactions.
“The Relix Live Music Conference is like a great night out at the Capitol Theatre or Brooklyn
Bowl, combined with righteous mission,” offered Fricke. “Passionate fans gather to celebrate the music and keep it moving forward. Whether I’m attending a panel, on stage for an interview or just hangingout in between, I always come away with insights, ideas and artists I need to know – something new that goes right into my writing and radio work.”
Shirley Halperin, Executive Editor at Variety, added, “Incredibly informative, both of the moment and forward-thinking, the Relix Music Conference is a can’t-miss for anyone in the live entertainment business.”
The first round of programming, which was organized by Tucker along with Josh Baron, former longtime editor of Relix, co-author of Ticket Masters and noted ticketing executive, will be announced in January 2023.
