Forest Hills Stadium Shares Full Season Calendar: Phish, Mumford & Sons, Big Thief, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard and More

“Forest Hills Stadium Dartmouth St jeh” by Jim.henderson is marked with CC0 1.0.
As summer rolls in, Forest Hills Stadium has officially unveiled the full calendar for this year’s concert season. From tomorrow, May 31 to Oct. 25, the beloved New York institution will present a total of 20 performances in its historic amphitheater, featuring appearances by acclaimed acts like Phish, Mumford & Sons, Big Thief, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, The Black Keys, Alabama Shakes, Leon Bridges & Charley Crockett, Tyler Childers and the three-day All Things Go Festival, led by headliners Clairo, Doechii and Lucy Dacus. Read on for the full list of shows.
Forest Hills Stadium’s 2025 season was jeopardized earlier this year by a dispute with the Queens, N.Y. residents represented by the Forest Hills Garden Corporation, which temporarily prevented the venue from obtaining necessary sound amplification permits. A settlement was announced on April 16 by Queens Borough President Donovan Richards, who disclosed that Tiebreaker Productions–the West Side Tennis Club’s concert partner–had assuaged local citizens’ concerns by agreeing to manage the privately owned streets around the arena with hired private security.
“The show goes on!” Richards shared with WNYC’s Gothamist. “There are some factions who didn’t want to see this show happen—and I’m here to say that there’s a new sheriff in town.”
Kayla Mamelak Altus, a spokesperson for Mayor Eric Adams, confirmed an “alternative security plan,” detailing that “conditional approval allows concerts to continue this summer if the stadium meets certain conditions, such as compliance with city noise code and adequate security measures.”
This year’s flare-up continued a decade-long saga of ebbs and flows in the tension between residents of the Forest Hills neighborhood and Forest Hills Stadium, which has periodically erupted into lawsuits, political lobbying, and in 2023 gave cause to a 68-decibel noise limit on concerts. In 2024, 11 of 36 shows in the season exceeded this limit, including two deliberately raucous shows from Neil Young & Crazy Horse.
