Elton John’s Final North American Appearance to be Livestreamed and Feature Brandi Carlile, Kiki Dee and Dua Lipa
Today, Disney+ has confirmed Grammy award-winning artists Brandi Carlile, Kiki Dee and Dua Lipa have signed on to join Elton John during his final North American appearance at Dodgers Stadium in Los Angeles. The performance has been dubbed “Elton John Live: Farewell from Dodgers Stadium” and will be streamed exclusively on Nov. 20 at 11 p.m. E.T. via Disney+.
The event is billed to begin with “Countdown to Elton,” featuring special fan massages, interviews with John, filmmaker David Furnish and more. Moreover, Disney+ has shared a trailer for the historic three-hour concert event, showcasing the legendary piano man throughout his illustrious career.
John’s esteemed musical profession has brought forth many memorable collaborations, ranging from his recent chart-topping “Cold Heart” remix with Lipa to ample stage time alongside Kiki Dee. The artist has also formed a life-long friendship with Carlile, making the on-stage additions to his final North American stand all the more meaningful.
In addition, iHeart Radio has planned an hourlong special dubbed “iHeartRadio Presents Elton John’s Thank you to America: The Final Song,” which will be broadcast over 320 stations nationwide on Nov. 20 at 1 a.m. E.T. The special will include legendary moments from John’s career and a live simulcast of Elton John’s final song and closing remarks during his last performance in North America at Dodger Stadium.
