The “Encore Weekend” of Eddie Vedder’s Ohana Festival, set for two days at Doheny State Beach in Dana Point, Calif., has been canceled. The event was scheduled for on Oct. 8 and 9–a week out from the sixth annual Ohana festival–and was to feature performances from Vedder, the Black Keys, Alanis Morissette, The Roots, Band of Horses, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, Haim and more.

The sixth annual Ohana Festival is still scheduled to go on from Sept. 30 through Oct. 2 and will feature Vedder, Jack White, Stevie Nicks and many more.

According to Spin, individuals who bought tickets to the Encore Weekend were notified of the cancelations via email, in which organizers cited the fest was called off “due to circumstances beyond [their] control” and that tickets will be refunded automatically at the point of purchase. All mention of the Encore Weekend has been removed from Ohana Festival’s website.

The sudden cancelation of Ohana Festival’s Encore Weekend seems to be unrelated to the recent string of Pearl Jam shows that have been called off due to Vedder’s throat issues that appeared after Pearl Jam performed an outdoor show in Paris following wildfires.

On Sunday, it was announced that in addition to canceled shows in Vienna and Prague, the band would also be unable to play their first two shows in Amsterdam.

“In spite of continuous medical treatment, Ed is regretfully still without a voice and unable to perform tonight’s show at Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam,” Pearl Jam wrote in a statement. “This is again the worst possible scenario for the band. We wholeheartedly apologize to all that worked so hard to put on the show and those supporters we looked forward to seeing.”

They added, “All of our energies will now be focused on having a show tomorrow [tonight].”
