Soft rock icons the Eagles, known for their contributions to the ’70s, have extended their residency at the top-of-the-line entertainment hub, Las Vegas’ Sphere venue. The newly tacked-on dates are intended to mark the 50th anniversary of the group’s first compilation album, Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975, considered one of the best-selling LPs in US history.

The newly added dates take the band’s residency into late February, with appearances slated for the month’s final weekends: Friday, Feb. 20 and Saturday, Feb. 21, followed by Friday, Feb. 27 and Saturday, Feb. 28. Previously, the group added a similar set of dates, Jan. 23-24 and Jan. 30 and 31. Before the start of the New Year, Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Timothy B. Schmit, Vince Gill, and Deacon Frey will perform their final 2025 concerts at Sphere on Oct. 31 and Nov. 1, and Nov. 7-8.

The final four concerts slated for February mark the 50th anniversary of Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975, comprised of select songs from their first four albums, and including eternal classics, “Take It Easy,” “Desperado,” “One of These Nights,” “Tequila Sunrise,” “Peaceful Easy Feeling,” and more. At the time of its release, it held the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart for five weeks and was one of the first to go platinum.
