Over the weekend, Disco Biscuits put on the second iteration of their BISCOLAND gathering at Wonderland Forest in LaFayette, N.Y. The three-day festival format unleashed a range of performances from participants, such as Nora En Pure, Mark Farina, DJ Minx, Lettuce, Break Science, Kitchen Dwellers, lespecial and Manic Focus, in addition to the event hosts nightly deliveries, which ranged from TRACTORBEAM to their original Disco Biscuits billing.

For the second time this year, following their February Fox Theatre blowout, Disco Biscuits put on a TRACTORBEAM set, which clocked in at two hours of jams and debuted covers of EDM staple “Language” (Porter Robinson), “Losing It” (Fisher), “Sandstorm” (Darude), “Leavemealone” (Fred Again.. & Baby Keem), and “Escape” (Kx5). As an ode to the holiday, the ensemble worked in Katy Perry’s Independence Day original, “Fireworks.”

BISCOLAND day two brought the return of fan-favorite “Vassillios,” last played in September 2023. Jam-catalyst, the 2024 debuted “Dino Baby,” topped out at 27 minutes in this 7/5 version. Having previously been unveiled at Electric Forest, the band played through “In The End We Have Forever,” only this time tacking on lyrics with added live drums and bass.

Continuing to dot their setlist with notes, Bisco started set two with another debut, “Another Spin,” which lasted 33 minutes. Saturday’s finale featured an initial set of four numbers, hitting on seasoned plays before a debut of “Better in Doses.” Notably, the group’s final stand at BISCOLAND 2024 was highlighted by a standout version of “House Dog Party Favor.” “Trap Door” ultimately served as the last debut prior to “Digital Buddha.”

In a press release shared by the band, Marc Brownstein offered, “This weekend was so special. We feel so grateful for our community, there’s really no good way to express how much it means to us. From our amazing crew to our amazing fans and everyone else who supports us on our journey, these experiences just reinforce how lucky we are to be able to do what we do. We hope you enjoyed BISCOLAND 2024 as much as we did.”
