Back in October we shared the debut video from Directors. The New York-based quintet draws together players who have performed with Antibalas, John Zorn, Medeski Martin & Wood, Alicia Keys and many others. This evening Directors will celebrate the release of their new single, “Rising to the Top” at Union Pool in New York. The band will share the bill with Ray Mason (Antibalas) who will celebrate his birthday by performing with his 13 piece Litty Committee brass band (featuring members of Too Many Zoos, and the Daptone Family).
