Today, Desert Daze announced the artist lineup who will join them in celebrating the tenth installment of art and music at Moreno Beach in Lake Perris, Calif. from Sept. 30 through Oct. 2. The gathering will mark four years since a colossal storm rolled in and prevented Tame Impala from performing their headlining set in 2018. This year, the Australian project led by Kevin Parker will perform their seminal sophomore album, Lonerism, in its entirety on the weekend of the project’s 10th anniversary.

Desert Daze will also feature return performances from headliners Iggy Pop, and King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard – Pop’s performance will be his only show in the U.S. this year. Additional artists over the course of the three-day event include Reggie Watts, BADBADNOTGOOD, Boy Pablo, Men I Trust, Chicano Batman, The Marías, Aldous Harding, Daniel Rossen Of Grizzly Bear, Shannon and the Clams, Perfume Genius, The Paranoyds, JJUUJJUU, ZO, Surprise Chef, Lady Wray and many more.

The festival, which was called “America’s most aesthetically pleasing” by Rolling Stone, will be illuminated by video artists and art installations by visual artists and lighting technicians including Tarik Barri, Mad Alchemy Liquid Light Show, Slim Reaper, and more. Cristopher Cichocki will also return to the beach to curate this year’s installment of The Sanctuary featuring clipping., Silent Servant, Kid 606 and more, along with Cichocki’s own Circular Dimensions Immersive Sound Installation and DJ sets from Nosaj Thing and Telefon Tel Aviv. 

In addition to the musical and visual elements, Desert Daze will have screenings and talks including a showing of Hamilton’s Pharmacopeia followed by a Q&A with host Hamilton Morris, a conversation on Mysticism in the Music Industry with artist and occultist Micki Pellerano – additional special guests are expected to be announced.
