Dead & Company Detail Sphere Residency: Unique Setlists, Never-Before-Seen Visual Storytelling and More

Early this morning, Feb. 1, Dead & Company confirmed a six-week residency comprised of 18 shows at Las Vegas’ newly opened Sphere venue. On the heels of the band’s verified Sin City appearances, they have shared more details about the impending shows, slated for May 16 through June 22.

According to a press release shared by Sphere Entertainment, during Dead & Company’s upcoming residency, they will “feature never-before-seen visual storytelling from Dead & Company, providing fans with the ultimate connection to the music through these innovative and immersive shows. Each weekend’s three performances will feature a unique setlist.”

Moreover, the ensemble’s residency will use The Sphere’s advanced technologies, such as the globe’s highest-resolution LED exhibit that goes up, over, and around the dome venue, allowing attendees to immerse themselves in the the visual experience.

Apart from the aforementioned technological advancements, Dead & Company’s Sphere experience boasts the highest-grade audio, dubbed Sphere Immersive Sound, fuelled by HOLOPLOT, known for its unrivaled clarity meant to be experienced by all concert-goers. 

Dead & Company Sphere confirmation comes after an initial slate of dates featuring U2 and impending spring dates a la Phish, who will play from April 18 through 21. Dead Forever will land a couple of weeks later and serves as the third official band to participate in a multi-night residency.
