Dayglo Presents to Partner with San Antonio’s Stable Hall

Dayglo Presents is expanding its umbrella and partnering with Stable Hall in San Antonio, Texas. Heralding the building’s next chapter, Dayglo has enlisted head talent buyer Hannah Gold (Luck Reunion, Newport Festivals) to take over the location’s booking and programming, reissuing an invitation for music fans to experience one of the Lone Star State’s heritage stages. The sought-after location will continue to highlight musical styles that touch on country, blues, conjunto, R&B and more.

For this phase of the venue’s history, Dayglo will draw on the location’s roots, which extend back to 1894, and its original purpose: stables for Pearl Beer’s acclaimed draft horses, before emerging in 2024 as a contemporary live music facility that has hosted the likes of Gillian Welch, Black Pumas, Alejandro Escovedo, and more.

Speaking to his aims and intent, Dayglo’s Peter Shapiro explains, “We’re going to take what we’ve learned over the past 30 years, going all the way back to Wetlands, while honoring San Antonio’s vibrant community and culture. This is a special venue, so we have a unique opportunity to create some magic at Stable Hall.”

The location’s current rebirth coincides with the city’s rapid expansion, making it an epicenter of the arts and creativity, with neighboring locations and top-of-the-line dining experiences, including Michelin Green Star winner Isidore, Michelin Star winners Nicosi and Mixtli, as well as Bib Gourmand-awarded Southerleigh, Ladino, and Mezquite. In the spirit of the city, Dayglo Presents will overhaul its food and beverage offerings to complement the overall experience.

“Stable Hall is a gem,” Gold comments. “It’s a very special building that artists love to play, and fans are enamored with. There’s a spirit when you walk through the door, and it’s palpable right away. It’s also surrounded by incredible restaurants and practically attached to one of the nicest hotels in the country. We’re planting our flag as a haven for San Antonio’s finest bands and artists as well as a must-play venue for national and global acts.”

Stable Hall’s General Manager, Garrett Zimmerman, adds, “We are beyond excited to be working with Peter Shapiro and the Dayglo team. This is a win not only for Stable Hall, but for the city of San Antonio to have such an iconic promoter bringing shows to the market. By integrating top national, regional, and local creatives into the Pearl community- one already reimagining the culinary and hospitality scene, we’re creating an environment where artists can finally experience the same level of care and inspiration as their fans.”

The next chapter for Stable Hall will remain faithful to the location’s roots while also providing an ideal space for live music. Creative programming will represent a healthy alloy of regional acts, touring musicians, and the best from San Antonio’s creative pocket.

More announcements will be made soon.
