Dark Star Orchestra Announce Northeastern Fall Tour Dates

Dark Star Orchestra have announced a 13-date fall tour, spanning six states in the Northeast and beginning on November 13 at the Paramount Theatre in Rutland, Vt. On the back of the tour opener, the Grateful Dead tribute act, known for interpreting complete sets of music conceived initially by the original San Francisco jamband, will perform in Boston the following evening.

In continuation of their autumn jaunt, the band will take their affinity for the Dead’s tunes and associated covers to the Palace Theatre in Albany, N.Y., on November 15, followed by their ensuing arrivals at the Capitol Center for the Arts in Concord, N.H., on November 17, and  Capitol Theatre in Rome, N.Y., the night after.

At the Wellmont Theater in Montclair, N.J., Dark Star Orchestra will put on two live shows, November 20-21, before they arrive at the College Street Music Hall in New Haven, Conn., on November 22. The next night will see the band take part in a live show on the State Theatre stage in Ithaca, N.Y.

The final series of performances on their tour will bring them to the Community Arts Center in Williamsport, Pa., on November 25, and then to Penn’s Peak in Jim Thorpe, Pa., for a pre-Thanksgiving eve celebration. The run comes to a close after two nights at the Paramount Theatre in Huntington, N.Y.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, August 22, at 10 AM ET with full details and ticket links available via the band’s official website.
