Last Wednesday, Caamp closed out their 2026 touring activities with a big show at Nashville’s famed Ryman Auditorium. Music City-based Americana artist Samantha McKaige opened the night and returned to the stage at the end of Caamp’s main set for a take on “All the Debts I Owe,” a tune off the group’s 2016 self-titled debut LP. Then, during Caamp’s encore, McKaige filtered back on to the stage along with Fruition’s Kellen Asebroek for a version of Creedence Clearwater Revival’s “Have You Ever Seen the Rain?” Caamp then brought the evening to a close with a cover of Faces’ “Ooh La La” and their own “Going to the Country” and “Officer of Love.”

“26’ tour is over. We’re sleepin till spring,” Caamp posted after the show. “Thank you to all who came out and made these shows magic. Thanks to the flower farms for gracing our stage with local flora each night. Thanks to our openers (fam). Thank you to our friends and families for visiting, calling, lending your hearts. Twas a year. Love ya.”

Asebroek’s appearance with Caamp closed a circle that began a night earlier when the members of Caamp sat in with Fruition at Nasvhille’s 3rd & Lindsley Bar & Grill. The musicians joined the group for “The Meaning,” with Caamp singer Taylor Meier taking over lead vocals for the second verse.

The two acts have a long history together: Caamp opened for Fruition a couple of times over a decade ago, when they were just a duo, and their bass player Matt Vinson actually met Caamp co-founders Evan Westfall and Meier at a Fruition show in Columbus OH, joining the act shortly thereafter. More recently, Fruition’s Jay Cobb Anderson has been touring with Caamp for the last couple of years, playing electric guitar when Fruition isn’t on the road.

Caamp currently do not have any announced tour dates. Fruition will kick off the next leg of their final tour at Madison, WI’s High Noon Saloon on November 10.
