Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band have unveiled their plans to extend their Land of Hope and Dreams tour into 2026 with a cross-country tour set for the spring. From March 31 to May 27, the legendary singer-songwriter and his road-hardened backing band will deliver 19 arena shows and a final night outdoors. The extension of an impactful 2025 European run of the same name will be driven by the same theme of fearless engagement with political crisis in the United States, as forecasted in Springsteen’s announcement.
“We are living through dark, disturbing and dangerous times, but do not despair – the cavalry is coming!” Springsteen stated in a video posted to his social channels. Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band will be taking the stage this spring from Minneapolis to California to Texas to Washington, D.C. for the Land of Hope and Dreams American tour.
“We will be rocking your town in celebration and in defense of America – American democracy, American freedom, our American Constitution and our sacred American dream, all of which are under attack by our wannabe king and his rogue government in Washington, D.C.” Springsteen continued/ “Everyone, regardless of where you stand or what you believe in, is welcome – so come on out and join the United Free Republic of E Street Nation for an American spring of rock and rebellion.”
Springsteen will significantly set off his 2026 Land of Hope and Dreams tour from Minneapolis, where the ongoing deadly occupation by ICE and CBP recently spurred the singer-songwriter to release the protest anthem “Streets of Minneapolis.” After a night at the Target Center, he’ll head to Portland, Ore., then make three stops in California and one in Phoenix, Ariz., before returning to the Garden State for a set at Newark, N.J.’s Prudential Center on April 20. After further performances in Austin, Texas, Chicago, Atlanta, New York, Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Boston and more, he’ll conclude the outing with a show at Washington, D.C.’s Nationals Park on May 27.
Springsteen’s 2025 Land of Hope and Dreams tour last May yielded a live EP. Alongside the title track, “Long Walk Home,” “My City of Ruins” and Bob Dylan’s classic “Chimes of Freedom,” that release featured five minutes of urgent onstage observations on the state of the union. The band’s upcoming run will bring their first North American shows since 2024.
