The Brooklyn Bowl Family Reunion in partnership with Harley-Davidson Sailor Jerry is a three day event from March 14-16 at The Historic Scoot Inn in Austin, TX during SXSW 2018. Some of the most influential music publishers including Relix, Brooklyn Vegan, Consequence of Sound, and This Song Is Sick will showcase over 24 live performances reflecting the variety of music Brooklyn Bowl brings to the world.

SXSW is a marathon. Bands play multiple shows a day, sprinting across town to set-up quickly and rock the stage. This year Brooklyn Bowl Family Reunion and High Brew Coffee will give back to the hardworking people essential to making each show happen–the bands and their crew. The Roadie Lounge will welcome artists, stage hands, lighting operators, tour managers, instrument techs and everyone else deemed a “Roadie” as esteemed guests at the Roadie Lounge.

Brooklyn Bowl Family Reunion partners include Harley-Davidson, Sailor Jerry, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, High Brew Coffee, D’Addario, JUUL, and Red Roses, Green Gold. The Brooklyn Bowl Family Reunion and Roadie Lounge will benefit the Live Like Lovey Foundation, formed to assist some of the most important people in the music industry – the crew!

As a special event at the Brooklyn Bowl Family Reunion, Relix will team up with Red Roses, Green Gold, the musical from MWM Live, set to the songs of Jerry Garcia and Robert Hunter, for a party at the historic Scoot Inn Austin on Friday, March 16. In addition to sets from a variety of bands profiled in the pages of Relix, Brooklyn Bowl Family Reunion will present a special celebration of the music of Jerry Garcia featuring Texas Gentlemen, Rayland Baxter, Christopher Porterfield (Field Report,) Erika Wennerstrom (Heartless Bastards,) Nicole Atkins, Billy Strings, and many others on the eve of Cats Under the Stars’ 40th anniversary.
