Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy Announces Summer Tour
Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy has announced a 13-stop tour, set to begin on July 9, at Ox-Bow School of Art in Saugatuck, Mich. The first half of the musician’s jaunt will take place in the Northeast, ahead of a five-stop California sweep, beginning in mid-September.
Following the tour opener, ‘Prince’ will travel to Woodstock, Vt., on Aug. 13, to play at Woodstock Town Hall Theatre, ahead of a Nova Arts gig in Keene, N.H., the following night. Next on the docket, he’ll head to Turners Falls, Mass., for a show at The Shea Theatre, on Aug. 15.
On Aug.17, the tour will continue in Lowell, Mass., when the rocker takes the stage at Mill No. 5. Then, the next evening he’ll pop up at Black Birch in Kittery, Maine, before turning up in the Pine Tree State’s largest city for an Aug. 19 showcase at SPACE.
Following a Northeast heavy start to the tour, ‘Prince’ will head West in mid-September for a handful of California dates, beginning on Sept. 14 with a two-night stand at The Chapel in San Francisco. From there, he’ll travel South for a gig in Santa Cruz, Calif., on Sept. 16.
On Sept. 17, the artist will play in Paso Robles, Calif., at Hubba Winery, before the final West Coast tour stop, on Sept. 18 at Henry Miller Library in Big Sur, Calif. Then, after over a month off the road, he will return on Nov. 5, in Berwyn, Ill., to gig at Fitzgerald’s.
