Bonnaroo Confirms 2021 Lineup: Lizzo, Tame Impala, Foo Fighters, Lana Del Rey, Megan Thee Stallion, My Morning Jacket, Tyler The Creator, The Disco Biscuits, Goose and More

The Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival has confirmed a full roster of musicians for its 2021 edition, including headliners Foo Fighters, Megan Thee Stallion, Lizzo, Tame Impala, Tyler, The Creator and Lana Del Rey.

The Sept. 2-5 event will celebrate the Tennessee festival’s 20th year, bouncing back after a complete cancellation of its 2020 event due to the COVID-19 crisis.

Other confirmed Bonnaroo 2021 artists include live favorites My Morning Jacket and The Disco Biscuits, as well as jam scene regulars like Primus, Goose, Jon Batiste, Marcus King Band, Grace Potter, Andy Frasco, Greensky Bluegrass and Big Something.

And while some of last year’s artists have carried over to the 2021 lineup (Lizzo, Tame Impala and Lana Del Rey, for example), 2020 headliners like Oysterhead, Vampire Weekend and Tool have remained off this new edition.

“It’s exciting to see Tennessee stages come back to life in time to celebrate the 20th anniversary of this internationally acclaimed festival,” said Tennessee Governor Bill Lee. “Fans are ready to gather together and celebrate their shared love of music once again. We welcome them back for a full Bonnaroo and what is sure to be a truly unforgettable event!”

The festival noted in a statement that “Bonnaroo organizers as always will be in regular communication with local health and public safety officials and will continue to abide by relevant recommendations.” They added that ticket holders would receive “regular updates with the important information needed to plan their trip to The Farm, including any changes to policies and procedures.” Updates will be shared on the festival’s website.

Bonnaroo also announced an NFT collection in honor of the festival’s return and its 20th anniversary. “To celebrate the return of Bonnaroo and to commemorate the festival’s 20th Anniversary, Bonnaroo has created a one-of-a-kind NFT collection including a 1 of 1 special edition of the 2021 Lineup Poster,” read a statement. “This is the first time a music festival has produced an NFT collection and Bonnaroo is so excited to partner with digital artist Archan Nair and premier NFT marketplace, Makers Place.”

The digital artwork will be available for bidding on Apr. 3 at 6:30 p.m. ET. For more information and to place a bid, click here.

The festival also announced a few upgrades to the grounds. This year will see the debut of “Jamtrak,” which is “a free on-site transport system enabling festival attendees to easily travel day or night to Centeroo and throughout the campground.” Full details of the travel system will be announced soon.

In addition, Bonnaroo stated that “2021 will also see a number of stage improvements,” including a “production makeover” for the famed Which Stage. The festival also noted that The Other Stage would now feature all-night performances and DJ sets until sunrise each day.
