Blackberry Smoke Plot Joint Summer Tour with Mike Campbell & The Dirty Knobs
Blackberry Smoke and Mike Campbell & The Dirty Knobs will come together this summer for a special co-headlining tour, slated to begin over two nights at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium on July 25 and 26. The forthcoming convergence of sound features nine follow-ups slated for the East Coast and Southern region of the US.
After kicking things off in Music City, Blackberry Smoke and Mike Campbell & The Dirty Knobs will proceed with a night at Artpark Amphitheater in Lewiston, N.Y., before popping over to Pittsburgh’s Stage AE on August 1. The tour continues on August 2, with the bands’ arrival at KEMBA Live! Outdoor in Columbus, Ohio.
The August 3 gig at Berglund Performing Arts Theatre in Roanoke, Va., initiated the Southern leg of the tour which will continue on August 5 at Firefly Distillery in North Charleston, S.C. A pair of North Carolina concerts will ensue before the group’s August 9 arrival at Synovus Bank Amphitheater at Chastain Park in Atlanta.
Blackberry Smoke and Mike Campbell & The Dirty Knobs will make one final stop on August 10, returning to The Tar Heel State, for an evening at Asheville Yards Amphitheater in Asheville, N.C. Via press release, Charlie Starr comments, “What could be better than summertime rock and roll shows with Blackberry Smoke and the one and only Mike Campbell & The Dirty Knobs.”
Blackberry Smoke’s fan club will have early access to tickets, with pre-sale beginning tomorrow, March 11, at 10:00 a.m. local time. The public on-sale will follow this Friday, March 14, at 10:00 a.m. local time.
