Billy Strings has announced he’ll be setting off on an extensive tour across North America in 2023. The tour dates, which span from February through mid-June, are billed as part one of the 2023 tour implying more dates of grade-A bluegrass will be announced at a later date.

Strings’ North American tour is set to kick off with a three-night run in Broomfield, Colo., which is already sold out on Feb. 2 through 4 at 1st Bank Center. The rest of the venues have yet to be shared but are expected to be revealed sometime next month. Highlights on the run include multi-night stints in Atlantic City, Charlottesville, Va., Nashville, Tenn., Salem, N.C., Cincinnati, St. Augustine, Fla., San Diego, Austin, Texas, Indianapolis, Morrison, Colo. (where one could rightfully assume will take place at Red Rocks Amphitheatre), and Cleveland. Strings will perform one-off shows in notable cities like Atlanta, Tampa, Fla., Charleston, S.C., Las Vegas and more. The tour will come to a close with a performance in the windy city of Chicago on June 17.

The news of the tour comes hot on the heels of Strings’ announcing a new collaborative LP with his father, Terry Barber, titled ME/AND/DAD, set to release on Nov. 18 via Rounder Records.
