Big Something Releases The Big What? 2024 Dates

Big Something and Possum Holler Production have just announced the 2024 return of The Big What? music festival. The festival is now booked to occur at the Shakori Hills Community Arts Center in Pittsboro, N.C., on Aug. 22-24, 2024. This marks the event’s tenth iteration, having debuted as an annual retreat to the band’s home state in 2012.

While the full artist lineup is still to be announced, the festival promises to present an eclectic selection of performances on multiple stages over three days. The weekend will also feature a series of unique sets by Big Something, as it celebrates the tenth anniversary of its second release, Big Something. Programs from previous years have included Vulfpeck, Cory Wong, Sammy Rae & The Friends, Butcher Brown, Maggie Rose, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Dopapod, Tauk, Aqueous, Everyone Orchestra and many more.

“This event has been a huge part of our story since we first started as a band and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate our 10th year this August,” says Big Something frontman Nick MacDaniels, speaking to the tradition’s importance to the band and its following. “We’re going to do our best to make it the most special, unique and magical Big What? experience yet. ”

Early Bird tickets for The Big What? Festival are already on sale. GA (General Alien), VIA (Very Important Alien), and SVIA (Supreme Very Important Alien) options are available, as well as Car and RV parking passes. Visit thebigwhat.com for more details as they arrive.
