B.B. King Tribute Merged Into Single Evening with Derek Trucks, Buddy Guy, Ann Wilson, John Scofield, Susan Tedeschi, Warren Haynes and More

The Capitol Theatre’s two-night B.B. King tribute will now be condensed into one, all-star show on Sunday, Feb. 16.

Previously-announced performers for the show include living legends like Buddy Guy, as well as students and longtime admirers of King, like Derek Trucks, Ivan Neville, Robert Randolph, Susan Tedeschi and Warren Haynes.

The single bill will now have performers like Ann Wilson of Heart, Jamey Johnson, Little Steven and Christone “KINGFISH” Ingram join the talented list above.

The Capitol Theatre has also announced that a portion of each ticket sold will benefit the Seva Foundation, “a global nonprofit eye care organization that transforms lives and strengthens communities by restoring sight and preventing blindness.” Seva co-founder – and longtime friend of King – Wavy Gravy will also be present.
