Artist Lineup for Blue Note Jazz Festival’s Black Radio Experience Revealed: Robert Glasper, The Roots and More
Details behind the Blue Note Jazz Festival’s Black Radio Experience have been revealed. The event will return to The Meritage Resort and Spa in Napa, Calif., on Labor Day Weekend, August 29 through 31. Leading the lineup of immersive talent is Artist in Residence, Robert Glasper, who tops a list that includes The Roots, Questlove, Jazmine Sullivan, Hiatus Kaiyote, and Esperanza Spalding.
“Black Radio Experience and Robtober are the platforms I use to bring all my favorite artists and collaborators together as one big family reunion and this year is no different! I’m honored to be part of such an amazing community and bring that community back together for another dope weekend in Napa,” Glasper offered via press release.
Also included in the overview of what’s to come are details on Afterparties, which are intended to take place on Friday, August 29 and Saturday, August 30, featuring a spread of DJs and special guest appearances from D-Nice, DJ Questlove, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Bryan-Michael Cox, Talib Kweli and Jahi Sundance.
Tapping into the region’s culture, the occasion boasts artist-led experiences, culinary events and complimentary wine tastings.
