Andy Frasco continues to remain active both in the studio and on the stage. Next week Frasco and the U.N. will take to the high seas onboard the Norwegian Jewel. Frasco and his bandmates will be part of The Revivalists’ cruise event, which will depart Miami on November 3 and makes it way to Nassau, Bahamas before returning on November 7. Then it’s off to Macau where Frasco and his group will perform at the Venetian Hotel from November 12-22.
When Frasco returns he will celebrate a new full-length album. Back in September, he released his Homesick EP, which he wrote with his 13-year-old Warped Tour-loving self in mind. Frasco will follow it up with an album that focuses on his Americana and folk side. He is joined on that forthcoming release by Kanika Moore, Everlast and Steve Poltz. He wrote some of that material with Rayland Baxter and Aaron Raitiere.
The first single "Perfectly Yours" featuring Kanika Moore is now streaming. He initially said of the tune, "We're not perfect, and we're not for everyone. But with billions of people on this planet we are for someone. That's just math.. 'Perfectly Yours' is about just that. I also thought a Jewish guy and Black woman singing a country song is what this country needs right now."
He also notes, “‘Perfectly Yours’ is about loving someone who’s a total handful (me) and them choosing you anyway. Every one of us is a little hell-raising, a little hard to love. Find the person who says ‘I do’ anyway.”
In late November Frasco will begin a cross continental tour as a featured performer with the Allman Betts Family Revival.
