A new musical project has just announced itself. MudKings will feature Aloe Blacc on vocals, Robert Randolp on lap-steel and G. Love on harmonica. These three musicians were joined in studio by producer Johnny Black. Sam Hollander contributed to the songwriting process. The few clips the band has shared, suggest that the results will be an energetic blues driven rock project.
As the band has announced via its Instagram account: “MudKings delivers a high-powered, energetic performance featuring original music, reimagined favorites and unforgettable moments that can only happen when artists of this caliber come together.”
No additional information has been provided regrading the project. The band has shared some video from the studio, although the release date of the music remains announced. One can only hope that tour dates will follow as well.
