Dawes: The New American Storytellers

With the release of their new record, Stories Don’t End, Dawes have cemented themselves as the next great American rock storytellers. Formed in 2008, Dawes began their methodical ascent, thanks to restrained, purposeful songwriting, relentless touring and several opportunities to back legends such as Robbie Robertson and Jackson Browne. They are now poised to become major headliners on their own. As editor Josh Baron finds, the road to success for Dawes is one that they are happy to travel slowly with the aim of making music a lifelong career.
