Portola Festival Unveils 2025 Lineup: LCD Soundsystem, The Prodigy, Underworld, Moby, Peggy Gou, Blood Orange and More

Portola Festival has unveiled the full artist lineup for its 2025 event. On Sept. 20 and 21, the Goldenvoice-produced festival will return to San Francisco’s Pier 80 for its fourth annual staging, uniting 69 of the acclaimed acts in electronic music today. This year’s bill is headlined by LCD Soundsystem and Dom Dolla, with other high-billed dance staples like Underworld, The Chemical Brothers (in their only non-NYC U.S. show of 2025), Christina Aguilera, The Prodigy, Peggy Gou and Moby building out a stacked mix.
Among the other festival favorites booked for this year’s presentation are The Rapture (Mau P, Anti Up, Brutalismus 3000, Duke Dumont and Maribou State. Classic house will see some representation from Horse Meat Disco and The Blessed Madonna (spinning B2B with electorclash pathbreaker Tiga), while acts like Arca, Kelly Lee Owens and Blawan make up a roster of some of techno’s foremost innovators.
Many of the most exciting inclusions on the bill are in lanes all their own, including singular vocal performers like Blood Orange, Magdalena Bay, Caribou, Bolis Pupol, Rico Nasty, Boy Harsher, Kreayshawn, Zack Fox and Ravyn Lenae. All weekend, the festival will host the San Francisco debut of Despacio, the celebrated vinyl-only hi-fi sound system created by LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy, engineer John Klett and Stephen and David Dewaele of Soulwax. The Dewaeles will also perform under their 2manyDJs moniker, billed B2B with Erol Alkan.
