The performers will stand together in opposition to the influx of new anti-LGBTQ+ legislation that has been passed in the state of Tennessee. According to the official event announcement, “Love Rising” will serve as a “celebration of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.”
In a statement issued to Instagram, guest artist Marin Morris wrote, “Let’s show these politicians that they do not speak for all of Tennessee. Love will prevail.”
