JamFam Music & Arts Festival has announced its opening lineup including headliners New Riders of the Purple Sage and Melvin Seals and JGB. The festival will take plays July 24-26 at Waterloo Village in Stanhope, N.J.

The festival marks a special performance for New Riders of the Purple Sage, as they are not only celebrating their 50th-anniversary show, but also dedicating their performances to the band’s tenured pedal steel guitar player Buddy Cage who recently passed away. Also joining the JamFam lineup is Jazz is Phish, Lespecial, Flux Capacitor and more. The founder said about the festival and venue that the “goal was to ignite the hallowed grounds of Waterloo and create a new beginning for this iconic venue while keeping the area spotless.” (Quote via press release.)
