High Sierra Shares Initial 2019 Lineup Feat. Greensky Bluegrass, Jim James and Others

Just in time for the holidays, High Sierra has dropped their initial 2019 lineup including Greensky Bluegrass, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, Jim James (with a full backing band) and more.

The Quincy, California event has been a mainstay on the festival scene since 1991, and many bands return to the festival year after year.

Galactic, for example, will be playing the event for the eighth time in 2019. (Their first appearance was at 1998’s High Sierra, which was also the first to take place in Quincy.)

Event organizers have also released some tribute sets including Karl Denson’s longtime Allman Brothers “Eat A Bunch of Peaches” set. The Nth Power will also perform a Marvin Gaye Tribute set.

Four-day, early bird passes for High Sierra 2019 are on-sale now.
