Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Finalizes 2019 Lineup


San Francisco’s Hardly Strictly Bluegrass will return to Golden Gate Park next month for another free outdoor festival, and the gathering’s organizers have revealed the final lineup for 2019, including a final wave of added artists.

Among the newly announced participants in this year’s HSB fest are The New Pornographers, The Budos Band, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, Punch Brothers, Rayland Baxter, Shooter Jennings, Lebo & Friends (featuring George Porter Jr., John Molo, Wally Ingram, Adam MacDougall and Jennifer Hartswick), and a broadcast of Live From Here with Chris Thile with Grace Potter and J.S. Ondara, among many others.

The new artists join a lineup already featuring Robert Plant, Emmylou Harris, Kurt Vile, The Milk Carton Kids, Calexico and Iron & Wine, Jackie Greene, Meat Puppets, Bettye LaVette, Margo Price, Steve Earle, Hot Buttered Rum and more.

Hardly Strictly Bluegrass is set for Oct. 4–6 in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park. All festival information can be found here.
