Widespread Panic “Fire On The Mountain”

March 2, 2011

Back on February 10, Widespread Panic kicked off its 25th Anniversary tour in the band’s hometown of Athens, Georgia. In addition to recreating the first three songs from its very first setlist (“For What It’s Worth,” “Sleepy Monkey” and “Chilly Water”) the group delivered another tune from its initial gig, a cover of the Grateful Dead’s “Fire on the Mountain” (Panic had last performed the song on 10/2/88).
