Watch: Vance Joy Covers Radiohead’s “Fake Plastic Trees”

Australian sensation Vance Joy took to the stage in his native country to offer up a cover of Radiohead’s The Bends hit “Fake Plastic Trees” as a part of Triple J Radio’s “Like A Version” series. Past performances have included John Butler Trio covering Pharrell, CHVRCHES doing Arctic Monkeys’ “Do I Wanna Know?,” First Aid Kit playing Jack White and more.
While Joy’s rendition sticks close to the original version, the Australian singer-songwriter offers up a more somber feel, with the horns and keys helping to strip down the electric guitar-heavy portion of the song. His voice, as you’d expect, is very much on-point. Check it out below.
