Watch Umphrey’s McGee Play the Soaring “Upward” at 2015 New Year’s Run

Umphrey’s McGee will once again return to Denver for their annual New Year’s run and to mark the occasion are revisiting their last stop in Colorado over the holiday by releasing a soaring version of the Raw Stewage standout “Upward” played during their December 30 show of that 2015 run.
“Upward” of course is the second half of the massive “Onward & Upward” segment that debuted the previous year during their annual UMBowl event, arguably one of the show’s greatest offerings, a 20+ minute composition that combned various instrumental jams and lyrical ideas from past years.
