Michigan State took down the second seed Virginia today to advance to the Sweet 16 in the NCAA Tournament. The Spartans are coached by Tom Izzo who blessed us at the beginning of this season when he dressed up in full KISS garb for Midnight Madness, the opening ceremony of sorts for the college basketball season. Izzo, who celebrated his 20th year in East Lansing, took the stage with a KISS cover band in full attire and even flashed some Izzo tongue.

Basically, this is the reason to root for Michigan State this March and every March and every day for the rest of eternity.
