Watch LCD Soundsystem Rise from the Dead in New York City

Rob Slater on March 28, 2016

LCD Soundsystem rose from the dead last night for their first show since their massive farewell at Madison Square Garden in 2011. James Murphy and co. will hit the road this year for a reunion tour that includes headlining slots at Coachella and the new Panorama Festival in New York City. For now, they will play another warmup show at Webster Hall tonight.

The band was tight and well-rehearsed as Murphy led the group through some of their biggest tunes like “Daft Punk is Playing at My House,” “Us Vs Them,” “Losing My Edge,” “Dance Yrself Clean” and the “All My Friends” finale, all to the delight of their adoring and dedicated fans who have waited five years for the band to return to the stage.
