The next installment of Lars Ulrich’s It’s Electric podcast will feature an interview with LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy, who will join the Metallica drummer for a lengthy chat.
In a pair of clips released ahead of the full episode, Ulrich digs into Murphy’s past, discussing his early upbringing going from a rural town to New York City where he’d eventually form LCD Soundsystem. They also dish on Murphy’s desire for control over music, which dates back to the 80s.
