Watch Lake Street Dive Play “Good Kisser” on _The Late Show_

May 8, 2018

Lake Street Dive just released their new studio album Free Yourself Up on Friday, and on Monday night the band celebrated with an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, where they delivered the album single “Good Kisser.”

As with most Lake Street Dive performances, the focus was on the incredible vocals of frontwoman Rachael Price, who paired low-range-melody verses about an ex only saying bad things about her their friends with a burst of vocal energy for the  thumping choruses, asking the ex to include the good parts like her kissing prowess. Price’s range and power is something to see in a live setting, only enhanced by her bandmates’ harmonies and instrumentation—which now features supplemental keyboard work from Akie Bermiss, along with longtime members Bridget Kearney on bass, Mike “McDuck” Olson on guitar and Mike Calabrese on drums.

Watch “Good Kisser” below. Lake Street Dive are currently on tour in support of Free Yourself Up and play tonight at Higher Ground in Burlington, VT.
