Dead & Company’s tour rolled on this weekend with a quick trip through Texas as the band’s fall stint winds to a close this week. Yet again, the band delivered a few notable jams as they stretch their improvisational legs at the end of the tour.
Saturday night’s show in Austin, TX saw a pair of sprawling jams open up each set as the band walked on stage to a patient, soaring “Jack Straw” and the familiar combo of “China Cat Sunflower” and “I Know You Rider,” featuring both Bob Weir and John Mayer delivering some guitar fireworks.
