With the avalanche of festival lineup announcements in the past couple of weeks, it seems like a fine time to revisit some highlights from last summer’s offerings, and Lockn’ Festival has just shared one of their own, a pro-shot video of southern rockers Blackberry Smoke playing a raucous rendition of The Band classic “Don’t Do It.”

The video comes at the kickoff of the Outlaw Country Cruise, which features Blackberry Smoke, and just a few days after the announcement of the band’s new album, Find a Light. “Don’t Do It” is just a perfect cover choice for the long-haired quintet, employing their good-natured swagger and twang to match the spirit of the legendary Band, with singer and guitarist Charlie Starr leading the way and offering some smooth licks during his solo.
