Conan kicked off its week-long tribute to George Harrison last night as Beck dropped by with his band to offer a cover of Harrison’s own “Wah Wah” from his 1970 triple album, All Things Must Pass. The Morning Phase singer added his patented alternative flair to the song, spinning it more towards the rock side than its normal psychedelic side.

George Harrison week continues tonight when Paul Simon performs, followed by Harrison’s son Dhani and Norah Jones on Thursday. If you’re wondering why in the hell Conan decided to pay tribute to George Harrison on this week, the performances coincide with the release of a brand new box set, George Harrison: The Apple Years 1968-1975. The set features Harrison’s first six solo albums and bonus material and is available this week. Watch the replay from Beck’s performance below.
