On February 14, Fiona Silver will release her new EP, Hostage of Love. Silver has toured extensively with Gary Clark Jr. over the past two years building a growing fan base for her dynamic, soulful performances. This energy is captured in her official video for “Hot Tears” from the forthcoming release which we premiere today.

Silver tells Relix, “’Hot Tears’ is a mix of memories and emotions, highs and lows, but all filled with passion. When I play this song it’s like a montage of different significant moments, and so it felt fitting that the video would be that way as well. We used a lot of footage from touring over the last two years. Life on the road is an adventure but it’s also rarely glamorous. I wanted to show what it was really like for us being in a little van, or in the subway in NYC with all our gear, and then having these incredible moments on stage as well. A lot of those shows were opening for Gary Clark Jr. which was a wild and beautiful gift. The chorus of the song is really about feeling broken down and still having hope or faith of some kind. Life is like that sometimes.”
