Today we premiere a new song from Elevator Party. Multi-instrumentalist Eric Biondo, who plays trumpet with Antibalas and also appears in Superhuman Happiness formed the punk funk band in 2016 with the collective commitment that everyone in the group needed to be within walking distance of the rehearsal space. Biondo, who performs on electrified trumpet, synthesizer, percussion and vocals is joined by lead singer and drummer Audrey Casey, along with Ricky Quiñones on vocals and guitar, as well as electric bassist Jim Bertini. On Thursday, September 27, Electric Party will appears at Pianos, followed by a September 30 gig at C’mon Everybody

Today we share, “Never Give Up,” the debut recording from the group, which Biondo notes, “brings a positive message to the dance floor.”
