The Allman Betts Band at Brooklyn Bowl (A Gallery)

On Wednesday night, The Allman Betts Band—featuring second-generation Allman Brothers Band family members Devon Allman and Duane Betts, along with Berry Oakley, Jr., son of the founding ABB bassist—opened up their inaugural tour at Brooklyn Bowl, offering a set that featured covers of their fathers’ legendary band’s tunes like “In Memory of Elizabeth Reed,” “Blue Sky,” “Dreams” and “One Way Out,” plus a cover of the Grateful Dead’s “Shakedown Street.” Dino Perrucci shared some photos from the performance.
