Song Premiere: Brett Dennen “Stand Up For It”

May 5, 2016

Brett Dennen’s next studio release is set for May 20. Elektra Records will issue Por Favor, which Dennen recorded in Nashville with producer Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton, Jason Isbell, Sturgill Simpson). The record features ten new originals, including “Stand Up For It,” which we premiere today. Dennen tells Relix, “Music has the power to carry a message further than words alone can. I’ve always been interested in writing songs that inspire thinking as well as feeling.” Dennen will support the new record (which is now available for pre-order) with an extended tour and all dates appear below the stream.
