Ron Swanson is Helping Wilco Promote Their New Album
Ron Swanson, Duke Silver and more legally speaking, Nick Offerman, is helping Wilco promote their new album Schmilco. In a video posted to the band’s Facebook page, Offerman delivers his testimonial on the band’s new record, due out September 9. Currently the group is hosting listening parties at record stores across the country and Offerman is here to tell you, in the most eloquent way possible, that it is worth the time.
Offerman calls Schmilco a “delightful ear sensation” and adds that, “to up your pleasuring, bacon is allowed in most locations.” If there was ever a more Swanson’d thought, I’d like to hear it.
As you may recall, Offerman directed Tweedy’s video for “Low Key” off of their debut album Sukierae. Not to mention, of course, that Tweedy himself actually appeared alongside Duke Silver on Parks & Recreation, reuniting the famed Pawnee, IN band Land Ho! for the special Unity Concert.
